City Marketing Ambassadors

Thanks to Rotterdam's training facilities and the growing number of top-level sports clubs, the city strongly appeals to top athletes. It is not surprising that there are several Rotterdam athletes among our national, world and Olympic champions. In turn, their performance has an irresistible attraction on young people in Rotterdam.

This is why Leontien Zijlaard-van Moorsel, Robert Eenhoorn, Raemon Sluiter, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Francisco Elson, Soufiane Touzani and Deborah Gravenstijn have agreed to serve as sports ambassadors for Rotterdam. By carrying out clinics and cooperating in top-level sporting events on a regular basis, they make a significant contribution to the development of their sport and Rotterdam's top-level sports climate.
