Wilson Kwambai Chebet won the 31st edition of the Rotterdam Marathon.The Kenyan athlete needed a time of 2:05:26 for the 42 kilometers and 195 meters. His compatriot Vincent Kipruto finished second in 2:05:32. Chebet walked away from Kipruto in the final kilometer of the race and came in solo on Coolsingel street. The women's race was also won by an athlete from Kenya. Philes Moora Ongori beat Dutch local favorite Hilda Kibet with a slight margin of eight seconds. Ongori finished first in 2:24:19
